OUR LOGOS . Quintanar del Rey, Spain

We are a group of 12 students aged 14-15 years old. We are in the 2n year of Secondary Education and this project is very important for us. We have been working the drawings for the Logo of this project and we want to show you the result.

Later on it will be a contest among the rest of the drawings from the other countries. 

Our town - Zawiercie

We made some postcards about our town - Zawiercie. It's small but very nice city. We hope you will like it!

Our TwinSpace

On 2nd November we met again to know better TwinSpace. It's a cooperation platform between students and teachers from other countries, who do eTwinning projects. We went through other students profiles from our project and wrote them short messages with greetings from Poland. We hope they will write to us soon. 

Our town: Quintanar del Rey, Cuenca - Spain

Quintanar del Rey is a small town in Spain, it belongs to the province of Cuenca which is in Castilla La Mancha region in the middle south of Spain. Our place is also calle "The Manchuela" and it is near the province of Albacete and Valencia by the east side. The river crossing our town is called "Valdemembra" and is a small river.

Our second meeting - search

On 12th October 2016 there was another meeting in our library within the framework of our eTwinning project “Forgotten professions”. There were six students of our school, from classes IIC and IID: Ola, Agnieszka, Kinga, Daria, Magda i Klaudia. 

We have chosen twelve forgotten professions and we want to

look at their history. We have been looking for the materials in our school library and we also established relations with Pedagogical Library in Katowice, where we can find more information about our chosen professions. 

Objectives of the project

Our objective is simple. We would like to show twelve professions which are forgotten or which faded into oblivion. But simultaneously it's difficult for us, because we need to write it in English. Unfortunatelly, we aren't able to find English versions of chosen professions, like: repasator, cyrulik or bibułkarka. 

But don't worry. We are not going to give up!
